A Privacy Ledger is a scalable, single-node EVM ledger integrated with a MongoDB database. Privacy Ledgers are based on the Geth execution client, modified to fit the Raylz system.
Privacy Ledgers utilize an enterprise-grade database to provide:
High availability
Horizontal scaling
Data querying
Disaster recovery
API integrations to traditional financial systems
Privacy Ledgers provide private, EVM-compatible blockchain ledgers for internal operations as well as interoperability with other members of a VEN. By integrating MongoDB with Ethereum Virtual Machine, Privacy Ledgers allow banks to:
Maintain sole authority of token issuance;
Control tokens issued by them within their own Privacy Ledger;
Establish adaptable, flexible platforms;
Ensure conformity to regulatory standards from participants
By design, each Privacy Ledger is its own component. This ensures that private data stays inside an existing IT structure, keeping it exclusive to the financial institution.
